01Consent and changing your choice
The consent banner offers an explicit choice to accept or reject optional measurement. Closing the banner or pressing Escape records a refusal. Refusing does not block access to public information. The choice is stored in local storage and in the bj_cookie_consent cookie for up to 180 days; it can be changed by reopening the cookie preferences from the footer.
02Storage used by the portal
The portal stores a language preference and a cookie-consent choice. Other spaces may use session cookies when a person signs in; consult the policy for the relevant service. Local assistant history, where present, remains on the device until the user clears it.
After acceptance, the application mounts Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights. It also loads Google Tag Manager if a public container identifier is configured. The code in this repository does not reveal which tags are configured inside the production container, so it cannot provide a reliable list of any additional cookies, identifiers or lifetimes. The Institution must review the live container and update this notice before relying on a complete tracker inventory.
The code does not identify advertising pixels or cross-site advertising tags. This statement is limited to the source and configuration visible in this project.
04Embedded maps and videos
On selected contact and event pages, a Google Maps embed loads only after you activate the “Load Google Maps” button. Directions links open Google Maps after a click. On University articles, the YouTube player loads after you choose to play the video. In these cases your browser connects to the provider you selected; any trackers and retention periods are determined by that provider and were not verified in this project configuration.
Use the cookie-preferences control in the footer to change the choice. You can also clear cookies and site data through your browser settings. Clearing authentication cookies may sign an authorized user out. The application removes cookies named _ga and _ga_* when a refusal is recorded; it cannot remove an unknown cookie created by an undisclosed third-party tag.
