Université Internationale de Libreville Berthe & Jean (UIL-BJ) is continuing its international outlook by strengthening its relations with Japan.
On Wednesday, 1 April, UIL-BJ’s Rector received the Consul and Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of Japan in Gabon. The meeting may mark a step towards new academic and cultural cooperation opportunities.
At the centre of the discussions was UIL-BJ’s intention to introduce Japanese-language teaching through its future language institute. The initiative aims to facilitate cooperation with Japanese universities and increase academic mobility opportunities for students, particularly at postgraduate level.
Through this project, UIL-BJ also aims to give learners access to cooperation scholarship opportunities and strengthen their competitiveness in an international environment.
The Consul and Cultural Attaché welcomed this direction and encouraged the University to continue its efforts to develop this structuring project.
