The origins of UIL-BJ
A founding vision before the official acts
In her message to the University community, Dr Marie-Madeleine MBORANTSUO welcomes students and recalls UIL-BJ’s ambition: to offer suitable, high-quality education in an environment that supports personal and professional projects.
She emphasizes youth employability, closer ties between the University and the world of work, scientific, professional and technical pathways, and respect for the Licence–Master–Doctorate system.

Opening of Université Internationale de Libreville
UIL officially opened its doors and began its educational activities as part of the Institution Internationale Berthe et Jean project.
