University councils
The Supervisory Board deliberates on the University’s strategic directions, resources and performance.
The University Council prepares university policy and examines the University’s principal directions.
The Scientific and Pedagogical Council deliberates on academic and scientific matters and coordinates the main teaching and research directions.

Rectorate
Assisted by the University Council, the Rector leads the University and oversees the regular operation of its academic units.

Quality
Attached to the Rectorate, the Internal Quality Assurance Unit promotes and evaluates the quality of education, research and university life.

University structures
Each academic unit is administered by a leader responsible for academic and administrative matters under the Rector’s supervision.
Under the Rector’s authority, the General Secretariat coordinates and supervises the administrative work of UIL-BJ’s academic units.
Administrative services support registration, academic records, accounting, information systems, university services and documentation.
UIL-BJ publishes a team that brings together professors, lecturers, doctors and experienced professionals.
