Université Internationale de Libreville – Berthe & Jean (UIL-BJ) hosted the IDEA 2 IMPACT competition on Saturday, 30 May 2026, an initiative promoting entrepreneurship and innovation among young people.
Organised at the initiative of the UIL-BJ Junior Enterprise, the event brought together nine participants from UIL-BJ and Université Numérique du Gabon (UNG), presenting six projects addressing varied issues with strong development potential.
Following the presentations, assessed by a jury chaired by Fabrice NZE BEKALE, representing GAIN, first prize went to Victor OBERDENO, a UIL-BJ student, for his application project “Flex On Life”.
This distinction gives him the opportunity to present his project to potential funders and partners who may support its implementation.
The University congratulates the winner and all participants on the quality of the projects presented. It also commends the commitment of the UIL-BJ Junior Enterprise, whose work helps strengthen the entrepreneurial culture within the University community.
Alongside the competition, UIL-BJ signed a partnership agreement with Lead Global. The agreement notably provides for the development of internship and support opportunities for students.
The day illustrated UIL-BJ’s intention to create an environment that supports emerging talent, innovation and young people’s career preparation.
