Among the pioneers of this first cohort, Dr Okome Mboulou Évangéline Christie Rokia distinguished herself through academic excellence and received the Très honorable distinction. Her thesis, “The normative power of the constitutional judge in French-speaking Black African states: the case of Gabon and Benin”, provides an in-depth analysis of the central role of constitutional courts in consolidating the rule of law and protecting public freedoms in the region.
