From Tuesday, 29 July to Tuesday, 5 August 2025, Faculté de Droit et Science Politique (FDSP) of Université Internationale de Libreville – Berthe & Jean (UIL-BJ) organised public defences of Research Master’s dissertations in the following specialisations:
1. Business and corporate law;
2. Political science;
3. Criminal law and criminal sciences;
4. Public law;
5. Fundamental private law.
The programme for the candidates’ presentations was attached.

The jury
The jury was made up of professors and doctors of law.
Documents to present
On the day of their defence, candidates had to present:
- a copy of their dissertation
- a list of bibliographical references
- an oral presentation of their dissertation lasting 15 minutes
Defence procedure
The defence took place in two stages:
- an oral presentation of the dissertation by the candidate
- a question-and-answer session with the jury
The University invited the public to attend these defences, which reflected the work accomplished by the students of the sixth Research Master’s cohort at FDSP. They offered an opportunity to discover innovative research and in-depth analyses in the different fields of law.
