ISGEA: eight student business-creation projects presented to the public

🎓📚 Université Internationale de Libreville – Berthe & Jean (UIL-BJ) was proud to organise the third edition of the public presentation of business-creation projects by final-year Licence students at Institut Supérieur de Gestion et d’Économie Appliquée (ISGEA). The event highlighted students’ entrepreneurial initiatives, assessed by a panel of invited experts:

• Ms Françoise Marinette BIVIGA, business leader and expert consultant in marketing and communication
• Mr Mohamed ZANG ABBO, Director General of Complexe Industriel International du Gabon (CIIG)
• Mr Yannick DIOUF NKOMBE BEAL, Deputy Director General of CIIG
• Mr Elphège YEMBI, Head of Studies, Programme Coordination and Partnerships at ANPI-Gabon
• Mr Barthélémy ATEME NGUEMA, Coordinator of Specialised Training at ISGEA

The jury was made up of:

• Mr Yannick EBIBIE NZIE, Director General of Société d’Incubation Numérique du Gabon (SING)
• Dr Ulrich KAMWA, Director General of ISGEA | UIL-BJ
• Expert Bassirou AMADOU, Head of Business Support and Supervision at ANPI-Gabon

They assessed projects from eight student groups:

• Group 01: Job Median – an application connecting service providers and customers
• Group 02: GMP Service – a company manufacturing and maintaining mechanical parts
• Group 03: KALIC Discover – a digital platform showcasing Gabonese agro-artisanal products
• Group 04: Exam Finder – a web application providing information about the availability of medical examinations
• Group 05: MANSA Industry – a small industry processing and marketing sugar-cane by-products
• Group 06: an application for translating and learning Gabonese languages
• Group 07: Ivina – a company designing sports equipment
• Group 08: Phoenix 241 – a company promoting the circular economy through household products made from upcycled materials
