Relive in pictures the remarkable second day of the Caravane des Idées at Université Internationale de Libreville, a joint initiative of Institut Français du Gabon and the UIL mutual association. Launched by Professor Jacques François MAVOUNGOU, Rector of UIL, and Mr Bernard KLEIN, Counsellor for Cooperation and Cultural Action at the French Embassy in Gabon and São Tomé and Príncipe, the event offered pupils and students an enriching day of varied activities:
✨ A conference led by Christian MBINA, Director General of AGATOUR, where young Gabonese entrepreneurs shared their inspiring experiences. Annaïse Laurène, CEO of African Trotteur, and Jimmy Franck NZOMBA, CEO of OELO, captivated the audience with their remarkable paths.
✨ A sports conference on perseverance and success, led by Paul KESSANY, a former international footballer. The dance workshop that followed, led by breakdance champion Bboy Link and professional dancer Hussen Bikoro Officiel, was a source of energy and creativity.
✨ An active listening session of RFI’s programme “La marche du monde: la légende du Dr. Schweitzer”, followed by a discussion led by speakers Augustin Emane and Arnaud Flamen, allowed participants to explore themes connected with culture and history.
✨ The Campus France Gabon stand, where guidance counsellors helped students with their plans to study in France, opening new prospects for learning and personal development.
✨ The media library stand, with online reading platforms and virtual-reality headsets, offered visitors a space to discover and explore imaginary worlds.
✨ To close the day beautifully, the talented SeBa gave an enchanting acoustic concert, leaving the audience under the spell of her voice and musicianship.
