L’Institut International de Recherches Biomédicales et de Biotechnologie Carles KAMBANGOYE développe des activités de formation et de recherche dans les domaines des sciences biomédicales, de la biotechnologie, des sciences biologiques, de l’environnement et du développement durable.

Who are we?

Opened during the 2019–2020 academic year, IRBK is an academic unit of Université Internationale de Libreville Berthe & Jean dedicated to teaching and research in biomedical, biopharmaceutical, biological, biotechnological and environmental sciences.

The prospectus uses the form “Institut International de Recherches Biomédicales et de Biotechnologie Carles KAMBANGOYE”. The name currently displayed remains unchanged pending administrative confirmation of the legal name.

Mission

IRBK’s mission is to educate students in biomedical sciences, biotechnology, environment and sustainable development. It also aims to promote the application of scientific and technical knowledge related to these fields.

The Institute trains students to analyse human-health issues and produce knowledge about endemic diseases.
