Who are we?

Opened during the 2019–2020 academic year, IRBK is an academic unit of Université Internationale de Libreville Berthe & Jean dedicated to teaching and research in biomedical, biopharmaceutical, biological, biotechnological and environmental sciences.

The prospectus uses a historical name. The public institutional name confirmed by the institution is International Institute of Biomedical Research and Biotechnology Carles KAMBANGOYE.

IRBK’s mission is to educate students in biomedical sciences, biotechnology, environment and sustainable development. It also aims to promote the application of scientific and technical knowledge related to these fields.
