Université Internationale de Libreville Berthe & Jean (UIL-BJ) held its solemn Master’s and Doctorate graduation ceremony on Saturday, 18 April 2026, at its Essassa campus.
The event held particular importance for the institution. It celebrated the Master’s graduates of the 2024–2025 academic year and marked the graduation of the first cohort of doctors trained at UIL-BJ, a historic step in the University’s academic development and profile.
A ceremony with strong symbolic significance
Beyond the presentation of diplomas, the ceremony represented:
- recognition of merit and academic excellence
- the culmination of a pathway based on high standards, perseverance and hard work
- the emergence of a new generation of professionals and leaders trained in Gabon
