Université Internationale de Libreville – Berthe & Jean (UIL-BJ) reached a historic milestone by organising the first doctoral thesis defences of its Doctoral School of Political, Legal, Economic and Management Sciences (ED-SJPEG). Among the pioneers of this cohort, Dr Le Roi Fumey Adje Pierre Adrick received the highest honours with the jury’s congratulations, confirming the academic excellence and scientific rigour that characterise UIL-BJ.
Dr Le Roi Fumey Adje Pierre Adrick’s thesis, entitled “The protection of patients in Gabonese criminal law”, reflects in-depth thinking and a significant contribution to Gabonese law. The work highlights the relevance of the research carried out within ED-SJPEG, both scientifically and practically, by offering new perspectives on the legal protection of patients in the criminal justice system.
