UIL welcomes its students in an environment suited to building a personal and professional project. The quality of education and support for each learner are central to this ambition.

The alignment between education and employment is a central concern. Professional and technical pathways, relationships with the business world and the development of the programme offering should help each person prepare for their professional integration.

The Licence–Master–Doctorate system, learner success, savoir-être, savoir-faire, citizenship and lifelong learning form a common horizon: learning, progressing and contributing.

Education is a human mission

Educating means supporting progress, giving direction to learning and helping every student develop their abilities.

The relationship between the teacher, the subject and the educational experience calls for constant attention to learners’ needs. Methods should be adapted to the content being taught and to the people being supported.

Through their high standards, attentiveness and example, teachers contribute to educating future leaders and professionals.

To parents and families

Supporting a pathway built over time

Education involves the student, but also their family and the institution that supports them. A university pathway requires trust, attention and regular dialogue.

Preparing for the practical and financial aspects of the academic year is part of this support. It makes it possible to anticipate study costs and provide the learner with the conditions needed for their work.

Success is therefore a shared responsibility: the family provides support, the student commits and the institution safeguards the quality of education and support.
